Residents must be sick and tired of reading about Merton’s Labour and Tory councillors blaming each other for the cuts to adult social care. Labour blame Government cuts while the Tories blame Labour for protecting their spin doctors’ budget.
There is an alternative. UKIP have announced £1 billion to ensure social care is safeguarded. We have also stated that we would merge health and adult social care as a priority to enable more joined-up, integrated patients management.
So if you’re tired of the old parties playing political football with your services, kick them both in the ballot box and back UKIP on 7th May.
