Youngsters celebrated Chinese New Year with a craft and singing session at a Merton library.
Children of all ages learnt about traditional and modern Chinese stories of kindness and courage, including the Story of Nian which documents how the New Year celebrations began.
There was paper folding and crafts as well as singing for the young group on Tuesday, February 17 at Raynes Park Library.
The event marked the occasion early, with Chinese New Year, the year of the goat or sheep, taking place yesterday.
