A school choir spread festive cheer with a performance at Wimbledon Station.
Children from St Thomas of Canterbury Catholic Primary School in Mitcham sang carols at the station on Monday, December 9.
The school has been performing at the station every year for the last 17 years with the support of South West Trains.
Bridget Mullens former deputy head teacher at the school and HCPT leader, said: “We had an extremely successful afternoon at the Station.
“The commuters really appreciated the beautiful singing of the children and showed their appreciation by standing and listening and spoke really kindly and were complimentary.
“Many people stopped to praise the children and to thank them.”
The event raised £760 for HCPT - a charity which organises holidays for disadvantaged or disabled children.
Bernard Doe, 10, plays the drums.
