He’s used to commanding the courtroom, but could the ballroom be Judge Rinder’s next challenge?
According to reports in The Sun, the legal eagle, whose real name is Robert Rinder, is rumoured to be one of the big names signed up for this year’s show.
However, the BBC is staying tight-lipped on whether it is true or not.
A BBC spokesman said: “We do not comment on speculation.”
The 38-year-old recently spoke to Press Association about whether he’d do Strictly or not.
He said: “I would only ever do anything which I considered to have judicial dignity. I’ll put it that way.”
The criminal defence barrister has become a star since he began fronting ITV’s popular daytime courtroom series Judge Rinder in 2014.
He has been linked to upcoming reality TV shows, but played down the speculation.
So we guess the verdict is still out on whether he’ll do Strictly or not.
