Katie Price has complimented ex-husband Peter Andre, saying he’s “really good” on Strictly Come Dancing.
Talking to Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain, the reality TV star revealed her family had been watching his performances on the BBC’s popular ballroom series.
“We do watch that. Before X Factor. We record both. I always thought he’d win. He’s a really good dancer,” she said.
The 37-year-old fell in love with Peter when they were both contestants on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004.
The couple wed a year later, but divorced in 2009 and have two children together – son Junior and daughter Princess Tiaamii. Peter married medical student Emily MacDonagh in July, while Katie is now married to Kieran Hayler.
Asked if the youngsters were watching their dad’s ballroom challenge, Katie said: “Princess wasn’t bothered, but Junior is as he’s more the entertainer.”
A former favourite to win Strictly, Peter’s odds have drifted over the last couple of weeks. Jay McGuiness of The Wanted is the bookies’ current tip for the top.
Katie, no stranger to reality TV, went on to hint that she would like to take part in Strictly.
“They do say if you can dance, it’s a harder show to do, than if you couldn’t so maybe if they put me in it, it would be good as I can’t dance and they can make me dance.”
The TV star, who won Celebrity Big Brother in January this year, has also been watching I’m A Celebrity.
“I have actually, yeah. I do like it, but I have to root for Chris Eubank as he’s from Brighton and so I am.”
