Application Reference Number: APP/ L5810/A/14/2226696 - APP/L5810/E/14/2226661

- - This application is to extend the approved conservatory by an additional 860mm. -At no.16 the outrigger extends 4.2m from the end of no.15's outrigger. The existing conservatory is set back from the end of no.16's outrigger by 1.07m. The extension of 860mm allows an additional 1 m internal space whilst also retaining a slight set back from the end of the outrigger at no.16. - On the boundary with no.14, there is a high boundary wall which steps down past the end of the existing conservatory, as part of this proposal it is proposed to extend the higher portion of the wall by 760mm which will conceal the proposed extension. The existing stairs to the basement (originally external) have been retained within the new Kitchen space. This creates a loss of useable floor space within the Kitchen area. Retaining the basement steps retains the fabric and layout of the original house but reduces the amount of useable floor space within the conservatory extension. The proposal will add an additional 1 m of internal space to the existing conservatory and Kitchen space. This would mitigate the loss of useable floor space in the Kitchen area used by the existing steps. This application is to extend the approved conservatory by an additional 860mm.

- Extend the higher portion of the boundary wall to no.14 by 760mm to conceal the proposed extension.

- External Doors to Garden: 2- panel fully glazed sliding doors in place of 4-panel bifold doors.

3 Kings Ride Gate is one of a pair of semi-detached houses. Currently the wall under the bay window is covered with pebble dash. This is old and moisture has penetrated the pebble dash and is causing it to start flaking off.

This application is to remove the pebble dash on the bay window portion of the 3 Kings Ride Gate. Apart from solving the moisture impregnation issue, it will harmonise the appearance of 3 Kings Ride Gate with the adjoining semi that has bring on the ground and first floor level of the bay window.
