DISABLED PERSONS PARKING PLACES - SCHEDULE 200a The Croydon (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No.2) Traffic Order 2019

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 11 February 2019 made the above Traffic Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.



2. The general effect of the Order will be to designate a new parking place at which vehicles displaying a disabled persons' badge may be left without charge or time limit in:



Bourne Park Close, Kenley Outside No. 30 and partially across the _I frontage of No. 29_

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 15 February 2019, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.



4. Copies of the Order may be obtained from Order Making Section, Parking Design Team, 6th Floor Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1EA.



5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS CRAIGEN AVENUE, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate a water pipe repair, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements in Craigen Avenue, Croydon.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Craigen Avenue between its junctions with Ashburton Avenue and Selwood Road.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Ashburton Avenue, Compton Road and Selwood Road as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 04 March 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 3 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS FOOTPATH NO.590, BETWEEN BIRDHURST RISE AND

SPENCER ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate essential footbridge maintenance to decks, treads, steel work repairs and painting, they have made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian movements on Footpath No.590.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no person shall proceed along Public Footpath No.590 which lies between Birdhurst Rise and Spencer Road, South Croydon.



3. Whilst the Order remains in force the alternative route for pedestrians will be via local routes as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 18 February 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 5 weeks. However, the Order will remain in force for 6 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT, 1984, SECTION 14 AS AMENDED BY SECTION 4 (7) OF SCHEDULE 5 TO THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1985 AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

HAYES LANE, KENLEY TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works by UKPN to install a new customer connection they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily close a length of Hayes Lane, Kenley, to vehicular traffic.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Hayes Lane, Kenley, between its junctions with Cadogan Place and Lovelock Close.



3. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.



4. Whilst the restriction is in force the diversion route for traffic will be via Buxton Lane, Salmons Lane West, Whyteleafe Road, Whyteleafe Hill, Godstone Road, Hayes Lane and Park Road, as appropriately signed.



5. The Order will come into operation on 18 February 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days between 8am and 6pm. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be re-introduced should further works be required.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Park Hill Road at its junction with A232 Fairfield Road other than in a south-easterly direction.



3. Whilst the closure remains in force the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Chichester Road, Park Hill Rise, Park Hill Road as appropriately signed.



4. The Order will come into operation on 15 February 2019 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out in 2 days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

PRINCESS ROAD, THE CRESCENT, WHITEHORSE ROAD & BOULOGNE ROAD, CROYDON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate the introduction of a pressure reduce valve bypass on the water main they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily close a length of Princess Road, Croydon, to vehicular traffic and to suspend parking in other roads in the vicinity.



2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-



? No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in Princess Road, between its junctions with Henderson Road and Whitehorse Road;



? Parking will be suspended and waiting and loading restrictions will apply "at any time" in the roads listed in the Schedule to this Notice.



3. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:



(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;



(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;



(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
