1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 01 October 2018 made above Traffic Orders under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders will be to extend the Croydon Controlled Parking Zone North (N1) permit zone and East Outer (E2) permit zone into the roads listed in this Notice :-

(a) introducing 8 hour 'pay and display/permit' parking bays and yellow line waiting restrictions operating from 9am to 5pm, Mondays to Saturdays inclusive, or "at any time" where appropriate, into the roads listed in Schedule 1 to this Notice;

(b) existing yellow line waiting restrictions and disabled bays will remain.

(c) charges for pay and display parking in the bays will vary from 50p for 30 minutes to £8.00 for 8 hours (maximum), or 30p for 30 minutes to £4.80 for 8 hours (maximum) depending on location;

(d) Residents and businesses in the roads/sections of road specified in Schedules 1 and 1A to this Notice may apply for parking permits. Current permit charges are £80 for the first resident's permit and £126 for the second and final permit. A maximum of two permits per business can be purchased at £382 per permit. A £30 administration fee applies to all new permit applications.

(e) in some locations addresses within existing controlled parking zones will be included in the new zone extensions in order to rationalise zone boundaries.

3. Copies of the Orders, which will come into operation on 08 October 2018, and of all associated Orders can be inspected from 9am to 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, at the "Access Croydon" Facility, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.

4. Copies of the Orders may be obtained from the Parking Design Team, 6th Floor, Zone C, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon CRO 1EA.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council proposes to make the above Traffic Orders under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to:-

(a) Introduce additional shared use (permit/pay and display) parking bays in the following locations-

(i) Hathaway Road - two additional bays on the north-west side (achieved by removing passing places and loading gaps outside No. 13 and Nos. 21/23) and six additional bays on the south-east side (achieved by relocating bays to commence at the south­eastern boundary of No. 2, removing the passing places outside Nos. 28 to 34 and No. 54 and by extending bays so that they finish at the north-eastern flank wall of No. 72).

(ii) Lennard Road - six additional bays on the south-west side (three bays opposite Nos. 12 to 18 and three opposite the rear of property Nos. 9 to 15 Oakfield Road).

(iii) Lancaster Road - two additional bays on the north-east side opposite No. 11.

(b) Introduce a limited time one-hour max stay disabled parking bay and a doctor's parking bay outside No. 139 Northway Road both operating from 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and all related documents can be inspected until the last day of a period of six weeks beginning with the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, between 9am and 4pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at the Enquiry Counter, "Access Croydon" Facility, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA.

5.
