height of 75 millimetres above road level and an on-off ramp gradient no steeper than 1:20 under section 90 A-F of the Highways Act 1980 at the locations specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
3. The general effect of the "Waiting and Loading" Order would be to further amend the relevant Merton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 1977 so that waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle for twenty minutes) would be prohibited at any time at the locations specified in the Schedule to this Notice.

4. A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan which indicates the lengths of road to which the Order relates and details of the raised junction tables, can be inspected during the Council's normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden.

5. Any person desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Order or to the proposed raised junction tables should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX quoting the reference ES/GALPINS ROAD SAFETY IMPROVEMENT no later than 10 August 2018.

SCHEDULE
1. Galpins Road, from the common boundary of Nos. 238 and 240 Galpins Road to the common boundary of Nos. 242 and 244 Galpins Road.

2. Berkshire Way, from its junction with Galpins Road north-westward for a distance of 9.3 metres.

3. Galpins Road, from its junction with South Lodge Avenue south-westward to the common boundary of Nos. 138 and 140 Galpins Road.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) EASTFIELDS ROAD AND GROVE ROAD, CR4 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 2) ORDER 2018
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate the annual level crossing servicing works at the Eastfields Road level crossing, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in Eastfields Road and Grove Road.

2. Whilst the works take place no person would:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed, wait, load or unload in:

(i) Eastfields Road, between its junction with Grove Road and a point 25 metres north-west of the level crossing in Eastfields Road; and

(ii) Grove Road, from its junction with Eastfields Road south-eastward for a distance of 10 metres; or

(b) enter or proceed in the lengths of road listed in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The prohibition would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited lengths of road would be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without Interference with the said works.

5. Pedestrian access to properties adjacent to the prohibited lengths of road would be maintained at all times.

6. Alternative routes for diverted traffic would be as follows:

(a) for vehicles from Grove Road, via Tamworth Lane, Cedars Avenue, Commonside East, Upper Green East, London Road, Raleigh Gardens, Holborn Way, London Road, Lock's Lane and Eastfields Road;

(b) for vehicles from Eastfields Road, via Lock's Lane, London Road, Upper Green East, Commonside East, Cedar Avenue, Tamworth Lane and Grove Road;

(c) for pedestrians, via the adjacent footbridge.

7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

8. Nothing in paragraph 2(b) above would apply to persons connected with the execution of the works.

9. The Order would apply from 11.30pm on Saturday 4th August 2018 until 6.30am on Sunday 5th August 2018 during which the level crossing servicing works are anticipated to be undertaken.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 17 July 2018, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 47 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the 'Electric Vehicle Charging Points' Order will be to:-

(a) designate parking places for electric vehicle charging at the locations specified in the Schedule to this notice;

(b) specify that any parking place referred to above will be available for electric vehicles only "at any time", without charge, provided that any electric vehicle is connected to a charging post via a charging lead at all times while it is left in that parking place. Electric vehicles left at a parking place for electric vehicle charging will be able to return at any time; and

(c) revoke the Merton (Electric Vehicle Recharging Points) (Parking Places) (No. 3) Order 2017 and re-introduce its provisions.

3. The general effect of the 'Parking Places Amendment' Orders will be to remove or reduce in length certain parking places in the roads listed in the Schedule to this notice to accommodate the introduction of parking places designated for electric vehicle recharging.

4. A copy of the Orders, which will come into force on 30 July 2018, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans specifying the lengths of roads affected by the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.

5. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 17 July 2018 made the above-mentioned Order under sections 32, 35 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the 'Off-Street Parking Places' Order will be to revoke the Merton (Off-Street Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 2017 and re-introduce its provisions with amendments to improve the robustness of the Order and ensure the enforceability of its provisions outside of the charging hours of the off-street parking places.

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 30 July 2018, and of other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, can be inspected during the Council's normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the made Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act, or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON The Causeway Parking Places - Extension of Maximum Stay to 10 Hours
The Merton (Parking Places) (The Causeway) (Amendment No. 1) Experimental Traffic Order 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Merton, have made the above mentioned Order under sections 9, 10, 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (therein after referred to as the Act), and all other enabling powers.

2. The Order was made on 17 July 2018 and shall come into force on the 30 July 2018 and shall continue in force for a maximum period of 18 months.

3. The general effect of the Order will be to extend the maximum parking period for which a vehicle may be left during the permitted hours, from 5 hours to 10 hours in all the parking places located in The Causeway, the north side, between its junction with Cannizaro Road and its junction with West Side Common.

4. While the Order remains in force, the Head of futureMerton or some person authorised in that behalf by him, may, under section 10(2) of the Act, if it appears to him or that person, essential in the interest of convenient, expeditious, and the safe movement of traffic or for preserving or improving the amenities of the area through which any road affected by the Order runs, modify or suspend the Order or provisions thereof.

5. A copy of the Order, a plan identifying the lengths of road affected by the Order, and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, until such time as the Order ceases to have effect.

6. The London Borough of Merton as the Order making authority will consider in due course whether the provisions of the Order should be continued in force indefinitely by means of an Order made under sections 45,46 and 49 of the Act.

7. Any person desiring to object to the Order continuing indefinitely may, within a period of six months beginning with the day on which the experimental order came into force, or if that Order is varied by another Order or modified pursuant to section 10(2) of the 1984 Act, beginning with the day on which the variation or modification or the latest variation or modification came into force, send a statement in writing of their objection and providing the grounds on which it is made to the Head of futureMerton at the address below quoting reference ES/THECAUSEWAY.

8. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act, or that any of the relevant requirements of the Act, or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make an application for this purpose to the High Court.
