LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON MONTAGUE ROAD AND PELHAM ROAD -PARKING LAYOUT CHANGES THE MERTON (PARKING PLACES) (4F) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 26 June 2018, made the above mentioned Order under the powers conferred by sections 45,46,49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the "Parking Places" Order will be to:-

(a) remove the parking place situated in Montague Road, the east side, adjacent to Nos. 32 to 34 Pelham Road and replace it with a single yellow line waiting restriction matching the operational times of the controlled parking zone "4F", to facilitate new crossovers following redevelopment;

(b) partially relocate the removed parking place to the proposed locations specified in the Schedule to this Notice;

(c) extend northward for 2 metres, the parking place in Montague Road, the west side, opposite Nos. 32 to 34 Pelham Road.

3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 9 July 2018, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan specifying the lengths of roads affected by the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX.

4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton under the powers conferred by sections 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, propose to make the above mentioned Orders.

2. The general effect of the Orders would be to convert sections of existing parking places, in lengths of roads generally fronting the locations referred to in the Schedule to this notice, to single yellow line waiting restrictions matching the operational times of the controlled parking zone operating at each of those locations to facilitate proposed vehicle crossovers.

3. A copy of each of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, including plans which indicate the lengths of roads to which the Orders relate can be inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.

4. Any person desiring to comment on the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their representations or objections and the grounds thereof, to the Environment and Regeneration Department at the Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX, or alternatively by email to trafficandhighways@merton.gov.uk quoting reference ES/CROSSOVER10, no later than 20 July 2018.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) VARIOUS ROADS (NO. 6)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate carriageway marking works to be undertaken in the roads specified in the Schedule to this notice, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting in those roads.

2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice.

3. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer;

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. The Order will come into operation on 9 July, 2018 and will remain in force for a maximum period of three months.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(VARIOUS ROADS) (NO. 7) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice, that to facilitate a programme of footway reconstruction and maintenance works to be undertaken in the roads or lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice, they have made an Order, the effect of which, during the works, will be to temporarily prohibit:-

(a) pedestrians from entering or proceeding on the footways in those roads or lengths of roads; and

(b) vehicular traffic from parking or waiting in those roads or lengths of roads.

2. Pedestrians affected by a footway closure should proceed via the adjacent footway.

3. Any designated parking place situated in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice will be suspended for the duration of the works in those roads or lengths of roads. The works will be carried out under a rolling programme of parking suspension to minimise inconvenience to residents.

4. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and the Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency;

(d) any person requiring pedestrian access to properties adjacent to the prohibited footways insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. The Order will come into force on Friday 29 June 2018 and the anticipated works dates are listed in the Schedule to this Notice. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of 12 months during which Its provisions will be re-introduced should further works be required.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 26 June 2018, made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the 'Prescribed Route' Order will be to consolidate the provisions of the Orders specified in the Schedule below into one Order, which will operate between 8.30am and 11.30pm on tennis event days (during the Wimbledon Championships) when the relevant signs are displayed.

3. The general effect of the 'Waiting and Loading Restrictions & Parking Provisions' Order will be to introduce 'at any time' no waiting and no loading restrictions in Somerset Road, between its junction with Newstead Way and Church Road on tennis event days.
