LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTIONS 14(1) and 14(7) QUEENS ROAD, WIMBLEDON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate traffic sign Installation works In Queens Road, Wimbledon, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict traffic In the said road.

2. During the worksi­te) vehicular traffic will be prohibited from entering or proceeding in the middle lane of Queens Road, between the two island sites immediately south of its junction with the access road to Centre Court;
(b) the bus and cycle route slip road in Queens Road, generally from opposite the Wimbledon Police Station to opposite Prince's Road, will be open to all traffic;

(c) any vehicle proceeding north-east bound in above-mentioned slip road will, upon reaching its junction with the access road to Centre Court, either proceed north-eastward in Queens Road or turn left into the said access road.

3. The restrictions and suspensions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular traffic affected by the lane closure specified in paragraph 2(a) above should proceed using the suspended

bus and cycle route in Queens Road specified in paragraph 2(b).
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

6. The Order will come into operation on Monday 15 January 2018 and remain in force for a maximum period of 3 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) VARIOUS ROADS (NO. 2) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate carriageway marking works to be undertaken in the roads specified in the Schedule to this notice, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from waiting in those roads.

2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this notice.

3. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer;
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes. 6. The Order would come into operation on 5 February, 2018 and would remain in force for a maximum period of three months. Dated 11 January 2018.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14(1) VALLEY GARDENS, COLLIERS WOOD (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate redevelopment works in Valley Gardens, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to continue in force the provisions of a temporary notice issued under section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 temporarily restricting vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, load or unload (including in any parking places) in Valley Gardens, the north-east side, between its junction with High Street Colliers Wood and the bollards at the section of Valley Gardens closed to motorised traffic;
(b) enter or proceed in the footway adjacent to the length of road described in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. The Order will come into operation on Saturday 13th January 2018 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28th February 2018. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of 3 months and its provisions will be re-introduced during that time should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTIONS 14(1) AND 14(7) (VARIOUS ROADS) (NO. 1) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018

1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice, that to facilitate a programme of gas mains replacement works to be undertaken in the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which, during the works, would be to temporarily prohibit:-

(a) pedestrians from entering or proceeding on the footways in those roads or lengths of roads; and
(b) vehicular traffic from parking or waiting, including for the purpose of loading or unloading, in those roads or lengths of roads,
(c) vehicles from entering or proceeding in Stanton Road from its junction with Worple Road south-eastward for a distance of 30 metres,
(d) vehicles from turning into Pepys Road from Worple Road.

2. Pedestrians affected by a footway closure should proceed via the adjacent footway.

3. Vehicular traffic affected by

(a) the closure of Stanton Road should proceed via Worple Road, Langham Road and Wyke Road and vice versa;
(b) the banned turns from Worple Road north into Pepys Road should proceed via Pepys Road southbound, Coombe Lane, Lambton Road and Cambridge Road.

4. Any designated parking place situated in any of the roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice would be suspended for the duration of the works in those roads or lengths of roads. The works would be carried out under a rolling programme of parking suspensions to minimise inconvenience to residents.

5. The restrictions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

6. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and the Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency;
(d) any person requiring pedestrian access to properties adjacent to the prohibited footways insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

8. The Order would come into force on Friday 19th January 2018 and would remain in operation for a maximum period of 18 months.
