KINGSTON ROAD (D2414) (SERVICE ROAD 332-380), EWELL TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2017
ON 19TH APRIL 2017 SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL MADE the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Kingston Road (D2414) (Service Road 332-380), Ewell that extends from its junction with Timbercroft (D2414), north-westwards for a distance of 50 metres. The Order is required to enable Gresham Construction to install a new Pogona cabinet and install piling rigs to make new pole root structure stronger. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 08:30 and 16:30 within two weeks
of the three month period of operation of the Temporary
Order, which commences on 24th April 2017. Advanced
warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times, cyclists and equestrians will be required to dismount and follow the pedestrian walkway. No sole vehicular access will be affected however access for emergency services, residents and businesses will be maintained at all times via the signed diversion route which will be via Timbercroft and Salisbury Road.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT HAND
TURN) ORDER 2017
SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL PROPOSE TO MAKE the
above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of
which is to temporarily prohibit all vehicles travelling in a northerly direction on (A24) South Street, Epsom, on reaching the junction with Ashley Avenue, from turning right into Ashley Avenue, Epsom.
For the prohibition above the diversion route for all
northbound traffic will be via South Street, High Street, Ashley Road and Ashley Avenue. Access to the Ashley Centre Multi-Storey car park will be maintained at all times.
Southbound traffic will not be affected by this temporary
prohibition of a right hand turn.
The Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to
carry out highway improvement works. This will come
into operation on 8th May 2017 and will remain in force
for eighteen months although this will only apply at
various times during this period. It is anticipated that this
temporary prohibition of right hand turn will remain in force overnight between the hours of 20.00hrs and 06.00hrs. The prohibition will only be operative while the County Council, or an authorised person acting on its behalf, displays signs prohibiting the said vehicular movements. Access will be maintained at all times for emergency vehicles. DATED 20TH APRIL 2017
