Lingfield Avenue, Remove Permit Holder Parking Bays And Replace With Parking Restrictions and Removal Of Two Speed Cushions

The Kingston upon Thames (Free Parking Places, Loading Places and Waiting, Loading and Stopping Restrictions) (Amendment No. **) Order 2021* and The Kingston upon Thames (Charged-For Parking Places) (AmendmentNo. **) Order 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames propose to make the ABOVE Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the Orders, will be to remove lengths of permit holder only parking bays and replace with waiting restrictions operating Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6.30pm outside Nos. 1, 2, 13, 23, 24, 30, 33, 40, 59 and 62 Lingneld Avenue, Surbiton to facilitate construction of kerb build outs and tree planting.

3. FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under sections 90A and 90C of the Highways Act 1980 as amended by the Transport Act 1981 and The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 that the Council of the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames proposes to remove two of the existing three abreast speed cushions on the outer edges outside No. 31 Lingneld Avenue with the middle speed cushion to remain in place.

4. Copies of the proposed Orders, of the Council's Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders and plans showing the locations and the effects of the proposals may be inspected as follows:-

(a) The Information and Advice Centre, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 1EU between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive

(b) Council libraries; and

(c) copies of the made Order and plan can also be obtained by calling 020 8547 5000 (between 9am and 5pm Mondays to Fridays); or

(d) by emailing TMO@kingston.gov.uk) (please quote ref KingMap 0072).

4. Persons desiring to object to any of the proposals or make any other representations in respect of them, should send a statement in writing to that effect and, in the case of an objection, stating the grounds thereof to the Council in this matter to either The Director of Communities, Traffic Order Section, Guildhall 2, Kingston upon Thames, Surrey KT1 1EU or email TMO@kingston.gov.uk, quoting reference TMO - KingMap0072 by. 9th June 2022.
