THE LONDON BOROUGH OF WANDSWORTH hereby gives notice that it has made an Order under Section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping up of the highways described in the First Schedule.
THE ORDER IS MADE to enable the development described in the Second Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with planning consent under Part III of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 by the London Borough of Wandsworth under local planning authority reference 2017/4141.
COPIES OF THE ORDER AND RELEVANT PLAN MAY BE INSPECTED FREE OF CHARGE between 09:00 and 17:00 during a period of 28 days commencing on Friday 1 November 2019 at Wandsworth Town Hall, SW18 2PU
ANY PERSON aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of Friday 1 November 2019, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provision contained therein.

THE FIRST SCHEDULE
Areas of Highway to be Stopped Up
An area immediately south of the southern boundary wall of the existing Day Nursery at 1 Waverton
Road, Wandsworth, measuring 17.5m2 and measuring 5m in a southerly direction and 3.5m in an easterly direction, together with an area also immediately south of the existing southern boundary wall of the existing Day Nursery at 1 Waverton Road, Wandsworth measuring 24m2, and measuring 12m in an easterly direction and 2m in a southerly direction.
THE SECOND SCHEDULE
1 Waverton Road, Wandsworth, SW18 3BY The development
Demolition of existing buildings and erection of a mixed use development providing a total of 193 residential units (of both private and affordable tenure) including houses and apartments, with associated amenity space including gardens, balconies and terraces; a new health centre (Class D1 use) (1,873sq.m), a pharmacy (Class A1 use) (94sq.m), two commercial units (flexible Class A1/A2/ A3 or B1 use) (189sq.m), within buildings ranging between two and five-storeys high, together with the provision of hard and soft landscaping, enhanced pedestrian routes, and associated car parking and cycle parking, with the development proposed to be constructed in two phases.
