LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
MONTANA ROAD, SW20 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate crane operations in Montana Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic In the said road.

2. During the works no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter, proceed or wait (including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle) in Montana Road, between its junction with Arterberry Road and its junction with Conway Road; or

(b) enter or proceed in the south-eastern footway of the length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. Any designated parking place, situated in the length of Montana Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Pedestrian access to properties adjacent to the restricted length of road will be maintained insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed via the footway opposite.

7. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using Arterberry Road, Dunmore Road and Langham Road.

8. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

9. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

10. The Order will come into force on Thursday 15th August 2019 and it is anticipated that works will be carried out until 17th August 2019 inclusive.

COPSE HILL, WEST WIMBLEDON (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development and associated works adjacent to Copse Hill, West Wimbledon, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Copse Hill.

2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Copse Hill, the south side, between its junction with Crawford Mews and its junction with Chambers Park Hill.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The London Borough of Merton (Copse Hill, West Wimbledon) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2018 will be revoked.

8. The Order will come into operation on Saturday 27th July 2019 and will remain in force until 25th April 2020 or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) (VARIOUS ROADS) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) (NO. 8) ORDER 2019
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate a programme of carriageway resurfacing and general maintenance works to be undertaken in the roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this
notice, they have made an Order, the effect of which, during the works, will be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, proceeding in or waiting, including in any parking places, in those roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice.
2. Any designated parking place situated in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice will be suspended for the duration of the works in those roads or lengths of roads.

3. During the works in:-

(a) Links Road, the one-way workings in Frinton Road and Gunton Road will be suspended and two-way traffic will be permitted;

(b) Armfield Crescent, the one-working in Armfield Crescent will be suspended and two-way traffic will be permitted.

4. The restrictions and suspensions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Alternative routes for diverted traffic will be indicated by advance warning and diversion signs on the roads affected when the works are in progress but will likely be those diversion routes specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this notice.

6. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of roads insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

8. The Order will come into force on Monday 29th July 2019 and the anticipated works dates are specified in column 3 of the Schedule to this notice. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of 12 months and its provisions will be re-introduced should further works be required.

CARRIAGEWAY RESURFACING AND GENERAL MAINTENANCE WORKS
4. York Close is a cul-de-sac and during the closure of Morden Court diverted traffic should proceed using London Road.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in the pick-up and drop off of festival-goers at the York Close Car Park in relation to the Eastern Electrics event; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency;

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of roads.

6. The Order will come into force at 8pm on Saturday 3rd August 2019 and remain in force until 12 midnight on 4th August 2019.

(VARIOUS ROADS) (NO. 7) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice, that to facilitate a programme of development works to be undertaken at The Study Preparatory School, Camp Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which, during the works, will be to temporarily prohibit any person from:-

(a) causing or permitting any vehicle, from entering or proceeding in those roads or lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice; or

(b) causing or permitting any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading, in those roads or lengths of roads specified in Schedules 1 and 2 to this Notice; or

(c) entering or proceeding in the footways in the roads or lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this Notice which are adjacent to The Study Preparatory School; or

(d) causing or permitting any vehicle from proceeding in West Side Common, between The Causeway and Cannizaro Road other than in a southbound direction.

2. Subject to paragraph 3 below, any designated parking place situated in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in Schedule 2 to this Notice will be suspended for the duration of the works.

3. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and the Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. Pedestrians affected by a footway closure should proceed via the adjacent footway.

6. Diverted vehicular traffic should proceed as follows:-

(a) during the closure of Camp View, via Camp Road. West Place, North View and vice-versa;

(b) during the closure of Camp Road, via Camp View, North View, West Place and vice-versa;

(c) during the one-way southbound in West Side Common, via Cannizaro Road and The Causeway.

7. Nothing in the Order will apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 1 to this notice insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works; or

(e) so as to prevent pedestrian access to premises adjacent the lengths of footway specified in sub-paragraph 1 (c) above.

8. The Order will come into force on Saturday 27th July 2019 and will remain in operation for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

(MORDEN COURT AND YORK CLOSE, MORDEN) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2019
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that because of the likelihood of danger to the public, they have made an Order, the effect of which, on 3rd and 4th August 2019, between 8pm and 12 midnight each day will be to temporarily prohibit any person from:-

(a) causing or permitting any vehicle to proceed in:-

(i) Morden Court; or

(ii) York Close; or

(b) causing or permitting any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading, in the roads specified in paragraph 1(a) above.

2. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

3. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and the Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
