Wimbledon based actress and singing teacher, Kate Batter is off to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in October for the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of her grandmother. As part of her fundraising, Kate has organised several concerts, one in her parents’ home town of Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire which was a great success and a concert for her singing students in Wimbledon which raised a further £350. On Sunday, August 10th the biggest of all concerts will be taking place at the Actors’ Church in Covent Garden, London starring a cast of West End professionals who have performed in shows such as the Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Wicked and many more.
