Has Councillor Michael Bull visited Dundonald Rec recently?
From his letter (Labour councillor's record speaks for itself - poorly, February 5) it appears not. I hold no brief for Andrew Judge (I plan to vote Green) but there are no plans to 'bulldoze the Rec to expand Dundonald school '. A beautifully landscaped and enlarged children's playground is currently nearing completion, already planted with groups of semi-mature trees. Three multi-use sports courts will shortly replace substandard tennis courts and the new build for the school (incorporating public sports facilities) will eventually take the place of a shabby pavilion.
As a result of careful planning, not a square inch of green space will be lost.
