I agree entirely with Steve Waghorn MBE (Consider our health, September 11), and admire him for coming out and saying what a lot of people in this area just seethe over regularly.

It is bad enough having aircraft coming over so low you can see the airplane's emblem, let alone the horrendous noise it makes even after it has gone over, but it is going on daily from around 6am until gone midnight most nights.

A peaceful Sunday in the area is unheard of.

I actually contacted the Civil Aviation Authority about how low these aircraft fly, because there is no reason for it, but, as usual with these organisations, I have had no response.

Perhaps if Mr Waghorn, and other affected residents, were to also e mail them, something might be done. They have a section on their website that says if you have a complaint about air noise, you can e-mail them at complaints@caa.co.uk.

If alll those affected by the noise and pollution caused by these monstrosities complain to this e mail address, something good will come of it.
