I totally disagree with the dismissal of Boris's brilliant visionary plans for a Thames Estuary airport.
It would be a blight on South West London to expand Heathrow any further. We live in West Wimbledon and some evenings up to 2300hrs the aircraft noise and low flying is very bad.
Last night it sounded like a plane was just above the roof of our house. On occasions one can smell aviation fuel in the street. Further expansion of Heathrow would put public health further at risk. I also noted that big business have been advertising the benefits of Heathrow expansion to coincide with Sir Howard Davis latest recommendations. Do they care about public health or just making money?
