Raynes Park has ground to a halt. The main roads and pavements around the town centre and railway station seriously flooded, and a car (I believe a mini) has been abandoned underneath the railway
bridge near the Edward Raynes pub. No sign of the fore brigade. Traffic backing up everywhere!

Old Wimbledonians Cricket Club recently played the CIMA Toronto Mayor's cricket team at Raynes Park as part of a tour of London through the Cricket Across the Pond (CAP) scholarship programme. Both
teams had a good day, with the CIMA Toronto Mayor’s X1 winning a 20 over match by 53 runs.
