Director of rugby Conor O’Shea has confirmed England captain Chris Robshaw will be fit to face Leicester Tigers this weekend.

Robshaw has missed the last month after picking up a shoulder injury in the 24-18 Champions Cup win over Leinster.

He was expected to be ruled out until the European clash with Wasps on January 17, but is back ahead of schedule as Quins – currently eighth in the table – bid to keep hopes of a top four Premiership finish alive.

Fly half Nick Evans, lock George Robson, prop Joe Marler and winger Ugo Monye are all expected to start the crunch clash after missing Saturday’s 24-13 bonus point triumph at London Welsh.

“It is nice to have the senior players back, but it is a squad game,” said O’Shea.

“It is a massive game for us, we know that and there is no getting away from that.

“We know that if we win we are right back in the mix.

“It is a hugely competitive league and it is so tight.”

Tries from Karl Dickson, Marland Yarde, Kyle Sinckler and Tom Williams at the Kassam stadium saw Quins bounce back from the disappointment of defeat to Northampton Saints at Twickenham last month.

“We are playing a lot more than we have in a long time,” added O’Shea.

"I am pleased with the ambition we are showing and the players are showing that they are going for it.

"If we keep playing like that we are going to win a heck of a lot of games."
