Quins fly-half Nick Evans knows his men are in the Premiership’s last chance saloon.

Director of rugby Conor O’Shea’s men visit Sale Sharks tonight, knowing they must win to remain in the Premiership play-off race.

Evans delivered a faultless kicking display as his 17 points helped Quins to a 29-6 Amlin Cup win at Stade Francais last Friday.

And the 33-year-old former All Black number 10 wants a repeat performance in Manchester.

“Most of our games are pretty much like a cup final now,” said Evans, whose side has won a major trophy in each of the past three seasons.

“We have to get the results and the wins. The team that loses the Sale game will fall off the pace.”
