London Scottish’s big kick off in the Championship will pit a summer signing against his old club.
Dave McCall will be facing familiar faces when Rotherham Tigers come to the Athletic Ground on Sunday (2pm).
The winger said: “I left Rotherham on a good note and I still keep in touch with a few of the guys there. There are certainly no hard feelings there.
“They’ve also brought in a lot of new guys, and I know they’re really going to bring it on Sunday. But then, so are we.
“Pre-season has gone well, and I’m happy that I made it through.”
Scottish head coach Simon Amor will be made to wait on the fitness of fly-half Phil Godman after the former Scottish international missed the friendly win over Richmond with a shoulder injury.
