Rosslyn Park’s head Alex Codling goes into this afternoon’s do or die clash against Cinderford with one thing on his mind – Rosslyn Park.
The National League One title, with promotion to the Championship, is still within Park’s grasp.
However, they must overcome Cinderford at Priory Lane, and hopes leaders Doncaster Knights slip up at Blackheath, otherwise Park will end the season with nothing to show for their endeavours.
Codling said: “Regardless of what happens on that final day, it has been an amazing season. To push a full-time professional team [Knights] is a testament to the boys.
“But we just have to focus on our game; we can only control what we can control.
“The boys have improved each week and scored some great tries.”
He added: “Although there are still things we can work on and improve so we will just be concentrating on ourselves.”
