New Malden's Tom Onslow-Cole hopes victory with his RAM Racing team-mates at the inaugural 24 Hours of Paul Ricard this weekend will be the first of many triumphs.

RAM's Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 - driven by Onslow-Cole, Thomas Jäger, Adam Christodoulou and Paul White (GB) - claimed the chequered flag after an impressive performance on Sunday.

Onslow-Cole has finished on the podium every time he has raced this term, but it was a first race win for  Ram that moved the team up to third in the team championship in the 24 Hour series.

The 28-year-old former Brooklands College student is up to sixh in the drivers' championship, but only five points off the top of the table.

“The pressure was on from green light to chequered flag,” he said.

“We responded well to Code 60s and all four drivers did a fantastic job to keep out of trouble and put in some of the fastest lap times of the race.

“Getting a 24-hour race win is a fantastic achievement and one that takes 100 per cent perfection from the entire team.

"RAM Racing always operates with the utmost professionalism and impresses me more every time I drive with them.

"I want to thank them for this fantastic result and I hope its the first of many victories for us as a team.”
