Anthony Ayinde has set his sights on the biggest win of his boxing career this weekend, as he targets winning his second Queensbury Boxing League title.

The Kingston 24-year old faces Queensbury regional welterweight ruler Danny Stalford in the main event of the competition’s Never Back Down promotion on Saturday at the Millennium Effingham Park Hotel in West Sussex.

Ayinde has promised to give the champion nightmares when the duo collide with the the challenger believing his style to be all wrong for the defending champion.

“ I’ve wanted to fight Danny for a long time now, and I think this is the perfect fight for me at this time,” he said.

“Danny is an aggressive come forward style fighter who likes to throw lots of punches, and combined with my style I think this fight will produce fireworks.

“I’m an awkward southpaw boxer who’s going to give Stalford so many angles to deal with he won’t know which way to turn.

“We’ve both got a dig so let’s see who has the hardest punch and who goes down first.”
