With the festive season well and truly upon us, Spedeworth host their last meeting at Wimbledon Raceway before Christmas.

The night is sure to be a cracker as two of the four formulas racing on the night, will be competing for their annual London Championship.

The 1300 stock cars title will be the first up for grabs. All season, the drivers in the class have given spectators plenty of action and drama.

This was in evidence in mid-November, when local driver Jimmy Morris excelled at the Best in Britain contest.

Morris executed a rather unorthodox last bend lunge on Curtis Tebbenham, which amazingly came off allowing Morris to take the title.

Back on his home track, Morris will be among the leading contenders for the London Championship, and no doubt he will be hoping for a slightly less eventful race this time.

The domestic bangers are also back for the second week in a row as they carry on fighting for their Track Championship.

So far this season Reece Priestly and Rob Barnes have been in great form, and have started to stretch away from the pack in the points chart.

There is still plenty of time to catch them however, with current champion Mark Pope likely to be a leading contender in doing so. After his second place in the World Championship, Pope will be full of confidence.

The London Championship will also be up for grabs in the rookie rods as they visit Wimbledon stadium for the final time in 2014.

The man to watch will be Edward Kennett, as he swaps the two wheels of his speedway bike, for the four of his rookie rod.

Kennett has been in great form in the formula this year with several good results under his belt, none bigger than taking the Supreme Championship at the end of November.

Charlie Hodge is another man who is always one who to keep an eye out for.

Finally there is alsothe final V8 stock car action of 2014, in what is a must watch for fans of stock car action as the roar of the Chevrolet V8 engines brings Wimbledon stadium alive.

David Burton made a return to the formula back in the summer and has picked up several good results and wins along the way, including winning the English Championship despite starting right from the back of the grid.

Racing starts at 5.30pm with turnstiles open at 4.30pm.
