New Walton & Hersham boss Mark Hams will be hoping new striker Gareth Chendlik is as good as his word.
The Kingston University student switched to Stompond Lane from Tooting & Mitcham United on Monday, but was helpless as the Swans crashed 5-1 at Corinthian Casuals on his debut on Tuesday.
Chendlik tweeted news of his move adding: “Can’t wait to link up with Mark Hams and Adam Pittwood again and add to my 11 goals this season.”
Hams, who replaced Tony Reid on November 27, is winless since he took charge at Walton and has watched his side concede 14 goals in four Ryman Division One South matches.
