Walton Casuals coach Liam Collins has hailed the impact of new striker Nassim Dukali.

The 19-year-old joined the club in January and has scored one goal – the winner against Worthing on his debut – in three appearances.

Collins was quick to give credit to the youngster and says he has a lot to look forward to in his career.

“He is doing really well for us. He is still quite young so he can still improve a lot,” said Collins.

“The boy is training hard and he has got a good future ahead of him in football.”

Collins’ side host Chipstead this weekend as they look to recover from last weekend’s 4-1 defeat at Tooting & Mitcham, which featured Terrors’ striker Dan Summers’ 20th league goal of the season.

Casuals sit 19th in Ryman Division One South, just five points clear of the relegation zone, and Collins feels inconsistency has been the problem for his side since the start of the campaign.

He said: “It has been the same from the start. We’ll win two matches, but then we’ll lose two and we have to improve on that.

“Our primary goal is to avoid the drop, but we also want to try get closer to the top 10 if possible.”

Collins expects to see a much improved Chipstead side compared to the one they beat in their last meeting this season.

“They are on a good run now, so it will be tough to beat them,” he said.

“Their new coach has certainly had a positive effect on them since he took over.”
