Paul Dipre has rung the changes at Carshalton Athletic – signing six players and releasing seven.

Coming in through the revolving door are Jack Clark, Ola Sogbanmu (below), Wayne Gray, Ashley Carew, Joe Benjiman and Darren Behcet, with Dean Lodge, Laurent Hamici, Tony Finn, Dean McDonald, Kennedy Adjei, Kieran Murphy, and Craig Tanner all going the other way.

Winger Clark is perhaps the most high profile addition having scored 16 goals for Cray Wanderers last season, while experienced Gray started his career at Wimbledon and has played for Southend and Leyton Orient.

“I am pleased with this progress so far and there are still a few discussions with other players going on which will be concluded soon,” said manager Dipre.

“But, apart from keeping an eye on a couple of players who become available in July, there won’t be many more additions.

“Combined with the core of last year’s squad, I think we are getting a good balance to put in a serious challenge next season and I am confident we will be up there in April.”
