Dulwich march on in the FA Cup

First published in Non-League

Kalvin Morath-Gibbs was the hero of the hour for Dulwich Hamlet after he fired them into the first qualifying round of the FA Cup last Saturday.

The full-back’s second-half strike saw off a resilient Hythe Town at Champion Hill where horrendous weather conditions made playing football difficult for both sides.

Hamlet’s next FA Cup hurdle is at Godalming Town, of the Evo Stik League Division One Central, on September 8.

In the Ryman League Division One South clash at Crawley Down on Monday, Carl Wilson-Dennis’s solitary goal was the only highlight in a 3-1 defeat.
