Ks boss Tommy Williams has not ruled out signing one or two new faces ahead of this week’s Ryman Premier League kick-off.
The Kingsmeadow chief is facing an availability crisis for the campaign’s opening weeks with Rob Tolfrey, Ricky Sappleton, Adam Doyle and Malachi Hudson all suspended.
Tolfrey is out for five games, with Sappleton, Doyle and Hudson missing three, two and one matches respectively.
“We always knew about the suspensions and we have the strength in depth to cope,” said the manager.
“But it is vital we do not pick up any injuries now and in the opening weeks of the season.
“We may possibly add one or two more players to the group, but the bottom line is we have good depth and whoever comes in for those players missing is not going to make us weaker.
“We are looking at one player in particular and possibly another, too.
“We got most of our business done early, but I would expect a bit more player movement as the season gets under way.”
