Leatherhead boss Richard Brady expects nothing less than another difficult match when his side travel to Wingate & Finchley in the Ryman Premier League this Saturday.

Leatherhead have won four of their past six league matches, including nine goals in their last three games.

Brady says it will be a challenge to come away with a win this weekend, but is confident in his side’s abilities.

“I expect it to be another tough match just like any in this division,” said Brady.

“They are a difficult side to play, but I’m not overly concerned about them.

“We know we are a good team and know what we can do on our day.”

Leatherhead have been impressive since being promoted last season as they sit comfortably in 13th place, just three points off the top half of the table.

Brady claims his side’s only expectation this season was to sustain their league status and says he is pleased with his player’s efforts up until this point.

“There has been a lot of changes this season but the boys have done well to adapt,” he said.

“I think they have been rewarded recently for their hard work and hopefully that continues.”

l Leatherhead FC’s academy trials continue on April 10 and 17 at the club’s Fetcham Grove home. The final session will be held in May.
