Hampton & Richmond Borough boss Alan Dowson has promised a mass clear out at the Beveree within the next fortnight.

The Beavers crashed 3-0 at Met Police on Tuesday night to take the wind out of the sails of a club that attracted more than 800 fans to the Beveree at the weekend for a 2-1 triumph over rock bottom VCD Athletic.

Goals from Bradley Hudson-Odoi, Ryan James and Michael Charles accounted for Hampton in the Ryman Premier League at Imber Court - a week after a 2-1 win for Hampton over the same team at the same venue in the Robert Dyas League Cup.

And Dowson, whose men travel to Bognor Regis Town on Saturday before hosting Grays Athletic in the FA Trophy on November 1, will make his feelings known with a host of players set to be shown the door.

"I wish the players who leave all the best, but I'll be ringing the changes," he said.

"That is it. I'm at the end of my tether now. If I have to play the kids at the weekend I will.

"We need to make changes.

"We have done unbelievably well to get five wins and a draw since I've been in charge, but I took on a relegation scrap and we are still in one."
