Ks boss Tommy Williams reckons new signing Elvis Hammond has plenty more to give to his Ryman Premier League title chasers.

The 33-year-old veteran penned a deal at the weekend after impressing in Saturday's 3-0 win at Walton Casuals that came via a double from summer signing Nathaniel Pinney and one from Andre McCollin.

The former Leicester City man joins a host of players at Kingsmeadow with Football League experience and further strengthens Williams' attacking options.

And the manager was delighted to add the ex-Woking, Farnborough and Sutton United man's signature to his collection at this stage of pre-season.

"His experience is a great addition to the squad," said Williams.

"He has a fantastic attitude and, while he is 33-years-old, he is still very fit and I'm delighted to be able to work with him."

Williams is also running the rule over former Carshalton Athletic winger Chris Henry and has been impressed by what he has seen thus far.

"Chris did really well and as pre-season progresses I would like to think we will pin down our final squad fairly soon," added the manager.

"I've liked what I have seen from the trialists so far and I think we will see a couple more signings soon."
