Leatherhead boss Richard Brady insists the players coming to Fetcham Grove will be good enough to keep the newly-promoted Tanners in the Ryman Premier League.
Brady was hit with a triple blow earlier this month when skipper Darren Smith, leading goalscorer Tom Bradbrook and player of the year Jamie Coyle announced they were leaving.
Bradbrook has joined brother Elliot at Dartford in the Skrill South, while Coyle jumped ship to Maidstone United and Smith has returned to Folkestone Invicta.
There was some positive news for Brady after defender Jerry Nnamani has committed himself to the Tanners for another season.
Brady said: “We’ll have players in by the end of the week who will strengthen the side across all areas of the pitch.
“Players move on and good luck to them, some feel they are not up to life in the Ryman Premier, others want a crack at a higher level.”
He added: “You cannot blame Tom for wanting to play in Skrill South.
“He’s a good mate of mine and I wish him all the best at Dartford.”
Meanwhile, another pre-season friendly has been added to the list with Carshalton Athletic, relegated to Ryman Division One South last season hosting the Tanners at Colston Avenue on July 26.
