Sutton United boss Paul Doswell has called on all United fans to get to Gander Green Lane this weekend.

United are hoping to return to action against Eastleigh after four consecutive postponements has left them second from bottom of the Blue Square South.

Without a home league game since November 17, Doswell says the club is running on empty.

“I am asking all United fans to please come and support your team on Saturday. We need as many people as we can get to help the club financially.

“The postponements have done for us. We now have to fit in 22 league games in 12 weeks. It’s crazy.”

Doswell has added former Ebbsfleet United winger James Folkes to his squad on non-contract terms, while no one else has left since the departure of Craig Watkins to Met Police.
