FULL TIME: And that was very convincing by Palace in the end taking their chances when they had to. 10 points form 12 isn't a bad record to go into the international break with either. See you in two weeks.

90 min: Four minutes added on.

88 min: GOAL! All over now as seconds after Burgess miskicks in front of goal, Hills crosses for N'Diaye to side foot home. The points are Palace's.

85 min: SUB: Eardley off, Bouazza on.

85 min: SUB: Ambrose off, Hills on.

83 min: Pool having the majority of possession but doing little with it.

73 min: SUB: Clarke on, Ormerod off and the sub almost immediately tests Speroni with a curling effort the Argentine puts over the bar.

72 min: Danns puts in a great cross that Edwards has to put over his own bar just ahead of N'Diaye. From the corner Ertl has a free header he puts straight at Rachubka.

69 min: YELLOW CARDS. Baptiste is a lucky man to still be on the pitch as pushes Ertl in the face fot holding on to the ball too long after a free kick given. Both of them get booked.

67 min: GOAL! Well what do I know as Darren Ambrose puts Palace 3-1 up. Ertl wins the ball in the middle of the park and chips it over the defence for Ambrose who looks more than a little offside but goes on to flick the ball past Racubka.

65 min: SUB: N'Diaye on, Lee off. He was looking very tired as it's all 10 men behind the ball at the moment.

60 min: This is going to be very nervy as Palace give Eardley far too much room to run on to the ball on the right but he drills his shot wide.

57 min: SUB: Scannell off, Carle on.

55 min: Ertl's cross goes deep to Ambrose but he sidefoots wide off balance. The crowd are very quiet now.

52 min: GOAL: uh oh. Seconds after Speroni produces a miracle save from Burgess he is beaten by Baptiste who head home unmarked. McCarthy points at Ertl and Ertl points at McCarthy.

46 min: SUB: Palace get us back under way with Burgess replacing Emmanuel-Thomas up front for Pool.

HALF TIME: Plenty of cheer around Selhurst today. They've not been the best side Palace but they have taken their chances.

45 min: Two minutes added on and Pool are looking for a goal back as Palace sit further and further back.

44 min: Palace exposed at the back and Clyne has to block from Emmanuel-Thomas. Lee again clears the corner.

41 min: Palace have switched back to 4-3-3 now. Scannell hasn't been his best today and gets an earful of abuse there from McCarthy, who Derry then shouts at for shouting at Scannell. There's so much love out there.

36 min: Pool have a goal ruled out for offside as Baptiste ventures forward. It looked close but I think that was right... though this linesman has been poor today.

31 min: GOAL! You wait 20 games for a goal in the first half then two come along at once and that was easy as. Derry given time to cross from the right and Danns ghosts in behind Eardley to head home. It's a bit tough on Blackpool who have probably been the better side.

29 min: Adam spots Speroni off his line and shoots from half way but it goes over. Not too far over though...

25 min: Scannell collects Lee's flick on and does brilliantly to squeeze a shot in that comes off the outside off the post. Unlucky.

23 min: Emmanuel-Thomas sets up Southern outside the box but McCarthy charges his shot down and it bobbles through to Speroni. Hill still having problems with his bloody nose.

16 min: A slight coming together between Adam and Hill sees the latter with a bloody nose and he's off the pitch for a fair while getting treatment. Adam has had to change his shirt because of his shirt and Hill will have to do the dame before he comes back on... which he does now.

12 min: Speroni keep Palace in front as Adam is allowed to run at the defence and sets up Ormerod on the left channel. Speroni comes out and saves though and Lee clears the corner.

7 min: Derry clatters Edwards late on but gets away without a booking. No real tempo to the game yet but still it's a good start for Palace.

2 min: GOAL! And Palace score in the first half! hooray. Butterfield is given tiem to cross and with Edwards slipping, Lee gets a free header he puts in the bottom corner. Great start.

1 min: The silence is very well observed and Pool get us underway. Rather surprisingly it's Butterfield who lines up alongside McCarthy. I'm not sure he has ever played there before.

2.57pm: Out come the players and there will be a minute silence before kick off for the Barry and Elizabeth Dighton, the Palace season ticket holders murdered in their home on Wednesday.

2.50pm: Palace: Julian Speroni, Danny Butterfield, Paddy McCarthy, Clint Hill, Nathaniel Clyne, Shaun Derry (c), Johannes Ertl, Neil Danns, Darren Ambrose, Alan Lee, Sean Scannell. Subs: Nick Carle, Darryl Flahavan, Lee Hills, Kieran Djilali, Kieron Cadogan, Ryan Smith, Alassane N'Diaye.

Blackpool: Paul Rachubka, Stephen Crainey, Keith Southern, Neil Eardley, Brett Ormerod, David Vaughan, Alex Baptiste, Jason Euell (c), Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Rob Edwards, Charlie Adam. Subs: Billy Clarke, Ben Burgess, Joe Martin, Hameir Bouazza, Alhassan Bangura, Matthew Gilks, Marcel Seip.

2.45pm: Hello and welcome to this afternoon's game against Blackpool at Selhurst Park, where a virus has left Palace a little bit short at the back. Paddy McCarthy has been in bed all week but makes the starting line-up, but Jose Fonte doesn't, presumably suffering from the same bug that has also ruled Claude Davis out. Nathaniel Clyne comes in at the back so I think Clint Hill will partner McCarthy, with Danny Butterfield and Clyne as full backs...that or Ertl will partner McCarthy with Butterfield in midfield. Sean Scannell is also in for Victor Moses, who's injury keeps him out, with Alassane N'Diaye making way for Ertl.
