A host of Crystal Palace players have received international call ups ahead of the international break next week.

Wilfried Zaha, Jonathan Williams, Darcy Blake, Lewis Price, Mile Jedinak, Kagisho Dikgacoi, Jonathan Parr and Ross Fitzsimons have all been asked to represent their countries.

Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha has been called up to the England U21 squad.

The 19-year-old has been picked by manager Stuart Pearce to play in the U21’s fixtures against Azerbaijan and Norway.

They play Azerbaijan in Baku on Thursday 6 September before returning to England to face Norway on Monday 10 September.

The Eagles’ mercurial winger has one previous U21 cap when he played against Belgium in February this year.

The academy graduate has been an ever present for Dougie Freedman’s side. He made 41 league appearances last year and has started all three of Palace’s league games this season.

Jonathan Williams, another Palace graduate. and new recruit Darcy Blake have both received call ups to the full Welsh squad.

Lewis Price was also included in the squad.

They play Belgium at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on Friday 7 September, then travel to Serbia on Tuesday 11 September.

Mile Jedinak has also been asked to represent Australia over the international break, he already has more than 30 caps for his country.

Jonathan Parr has been called up to the Norway squad whilst Kagisho Dikgacoi was picked by South Africa.

Young goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons has been called up to the Republic of Ireland U-19 squad.
