Crystal Palace broke their Premier League duck at home this season beating Leicester City 2-0 with two quick-fire goals.

Fraizer Campbell and Mile Jedinak, after their goal-scoring antics at Everton the weekend before, were on the scoresheet again immediately after half-time to seal a second consecutive league win for Neil Warnock’s Eagles.

The three points lifts the Eagles to eighth in the table and extends their unbeaten run to four.

Warnock said: “We came into the game after 20 minutes, like we did at Everton. We seemed a little apprehensive to start with and Leicester City have had a good start to the season.

“We were a little deeper than we should have been, and at half-time we said about being more positive.

“The wingers were a threat throughout the game, and when Campbell put himself about he deserved the goal.”

He added: “Jason [Puncheon] had an excellent game, but he is not getting as much limelight as Yannick [Bolasie] because he is more of a marked man this season, which gives Yannick more room. It’s a manager’s dream.

“I had a feeling that Mile [Jedinak] was going to score and for him to do it in front of the kop is great.

“When the Kop gets going, it’s an incredibly feeling on the touchline.”

Palace go to Hull City this weekend looking to make it five Premier League games unbeaten.
