IFK Gothenburg Danish international striker Lasse Vibe appears set to join the Brentford revolution in a cut price deal.
Reports in Sweden suggest the prolific 28-year-old marksman, who has scored 31 goals in his past 56 appearances in the Swedish top flight, is set for a £1million move to west London.
Championship rivals Reading were quoted £2million for Vibe, who has nine caps for Denmark, when they made an approach earlier this year.
The Bees have reportedly fought off competition from Schalke to land their man, who rejected a big money move to China in January.
Vibe is due to have a medical today, with the deal expected to be announced on Friday.
