Everton loanee Chris Long marked his first Championship start for Brentford with a brace in his side's 4-1 win over Huddersfield Town at Griffin Park.
The 20-year-old frontman, who scored his first goal for the club last month against AFC Bournemouth and has made six substitute appearances thus far, replaced striker Andre Gray up front.
And he made a big impression as he opened the scoring after four minutes only to see Harry Bunn level matters to make it 1-1 at the break.
Long struck again six minutes into the second half before Alex Pritchard and substitute Jon Toral found the net in the final quarter to make the game safe.
The result moved Brentford up to sixth in the table although Ipswich Town can go above them should they win at Leeds United tomorrow.
Brentford: Button; Odubajo, Tarkowski, Moore, Bidwell; Douglas, Diagouraga; Jota, Pritchard, Dallas, Long.
Subs: Bonham, Craig, Dean, McCormack, Toral, Smith, Gray
