Brentford boss Mark Warburton has warned against taking anyone lightly in
the League One promotion run-in.

The Bees responded to last week’s 3-0 defeat at Rotherham with back-to-back 0-0 draws against Oldham Athletic and Sheffield United.

Warburton’s men, still four points ahead of third-placed Leyton Orient with a game in hand, host struggling Notts County on Saturday before entertaining Crawley Town on Tuesday.

And the manager, unconcerned about the recent lack of goals, has promised repeating his side’s Bramall Lane exploits over the closing weeks of the campaign will secure promotion.

“We created seven or eight very good chances against Sheffield United. We looked back to our best, from the first to the final whistle,” he said.

“The players have responded well to the Rotherham
defeat  and if we continue to play like that then we will be in very good shape.

“I’ve always said there are no easy teams. Notts County have won their last three games and will be formidable opponents.”
