Carshalton Athletic go into this weekend's Ryman Division One South fixtures aiming to explore new frontiers.

Victory at Sittingbourne on Saturday would mark four consecutive league victories for the first time this season.

The Robins' recent form has lifted them from the lower echelons of the table to ninth and within one point of the play-offs.

And, following a 2-1 win over struggling Whitstable Town last Saturday, midfielder Lee Hall believes he and his team-mates are capable of keeping up the momentum.

"I felt our performance was good for the majority of Saturday's game, but we had to dig in for the win," Hall said.

"They gave us a scare by reducing our lead in the last 10 minutes, but we showed good determination to hold on to the three points."

Goals either side of half-time by Tommy Bradford and Dan Summers gave the Robins their commanding lead and, between them, the pair have now eight of Carshalton's last nine goals.

"Both players are important to us, but Tommy has really impressed recently," Hall added. "I believe he could walk into any Ryman side while on this kind of form."

Carshalton boss Matt Howard and his charges did not have a midweek game to keep the proverbial engine ticking over, but Hall revealed there will be no resting on their laurels.

"The boss will have us in for at least two training sessions before Saturday and we'll be working on a few things," he said.

"We've good facilities here and there is a real buzz among us players at the moment, so we won't be taking our foot off the pedal."

The Robins' trip to Sittingbourne kicks-off at 3pm.
