Met Police boss Jimmy Cooper might have predicted a tough afternoon for his men, but even he could not have foreseen Kingstonian's magnificent seven on Saturday.

Cooper had feared a Ks backlash prior to kick off after opposite number Tommy Williams had seen his men lose their opening two Ryman Premier League games.

And Williams' men proved those concerns were not unfounded as they responded to the two defeats by beating the Blues 7-0 at home.

A Dan Bennett hat-trick led the way and further goals from Peter Dean, Pelayo Pico Gomez, Jake Kempton and ex-Blue Tyrone Smith heaped more misery on Cooper's play-off hopefuls.

Ks were 3-0 up at the break through Bennett - twice - and Dean, and they completed Met Police's humiliation with four goals in the last 2o minutes.

The result moved Ks off the foot of the table and upto 15th.
