Seventeen young Croydon Harriers took part in the Surrey young athlete cross-country relays at Guildford on Saturday.
The U15 boys enjoyed the club’s highest finish in 10th, led over the 2.5k course by Jordan O’Dongo (seven minutes 21 seconds), who was seventh overall.
He was well supported by Ifetobi Salako (8:45) and Adam Shew (8:41) in the 19-team field.
Their female counterparts were 12th overall thanks to Lexus Croydon 3k winner Jessica Moore (8:33), Saarah Nawaz (8:55) and Megan Driver (9:32). The U13 girls' team were 15th and the B team were 25th out of 32 teams that competed.
In the U13 boys' ranks, Jake Cork followed up his Lexus Croydon 3k win by recording 8:00 to finish 17th out of 78.
Elsewhere, at the Great South Run, Alex Penfold finished 79th in 58:14.
In marathon action, Rush Yudave completed his fifth marathon of the year at Leicester in 3.40:25.
In parkrun action, Ernie Hann was runner-up at Bromley, as was team-mate Jake English at Crystal Palace.
Mark Lynch was fourth at Greenwich, Simon Loughran was eighth at Hackney Marshes and Glenn Barden was fifth at Peckham Rye.
