Kingston & Polytechnic Harrier Pippa Earley is set to make her international debut in December after getting the nod for the English Schools squad for the Home International meeting in Glasgow.
The 15-year-old received the call after winning the English Schools U15 girls’ pentathlon crown in Bedford on Sunday to go with the U15 girls’ 75m hurdles title she won in July.
She clocked 10.86 seconds – only 0.01 secs off the all-time U15 UK record –to win the 75m hurdles element of the five-event competition.
