At the Southern inter-counties in Oxford, Croydon Harriers' Omar Harhara was in action for Surrey in the U17 men’s race against 11 other counties.

The Riddlesdown pupil finished 60th out of the 82 finishers, and was sixth Surrey athlete home in the eight man team.

At the Holly Run cross-country races in Reigate, Kyra Sethna-McIntosh enjoyed the club’s highest individual position of the day finishing fourth in the U11 girls' mile race.

Peter Chambers in action for GB & NI

Leanne Moore (12th) and Krya’s younger sister Jana ensured the team finished fourth overall.

In the U15 girls' race, Jessica Moore was 12th and Niamh Yehezkel (15th) kept the flag flying, just 24 hours after the Lloyd parkrun mob match.

Alex Penfold led the men’s race charge in 13th in a competition which Peter Chambers won 12 months ago.

Neil Aikman, Colin Oxlade, James Moore, Rod Harrington and Andy Del Nevo were also in action.
