New Bees signing tipped for top

Ryman League Division One North club Waltham Abbey have confirmed young goalkeeper James Bransgrove has signed a deal with Brentford after a successful two-week trial.

Bransgrove has made eight first-team appearances this season and Abbey boss Paul Wickenden said: “He is a great lad and has a great future in the game. His attitude is and has been second to none and this couldn’t have happened to a nicer lad.”

Brentford have also agreed to visit Abbey for a pre-season friendly and a tie up that allows them to loan development squad players to feature in for the non-League club.
