Boxing star of the future going for nine unbeaten

First published in Sport by

Streatham heavyweight prospect Dillian 'The Villian' Whyte will be hoping to keep his unbeaten run going when he takes on Sandor Balogh tomorrow (Saturday) at Bluewater.

Since entering the professional boxing ranks back in May 2011, the 24-year-old, who is tipped by many fight game observers as a future world champion, has won all eight of his bouts.

In his last outing three weeks ago, martial arts specialist Whyte stopped Manchester's former British champion Michael Holden in three rounds.

The 10-fight bill at Glow features James Degale MBE defending his European super-middleweight title against Frenchman Hadillah Mohoumadi.

Meanwhile East Dulwich welterweight Ahmed 'Pattycake' Patterson made it five straight last Friday at Camden Centre, Kings Cross with a third round stoppage success over Bulgarian Yanbko Marinov.
